　　1.令讀者查到此書　
　　　To enable a person to find a book of which either
　　　　the author
　　　　the title
　　　　the subject
　　　is know

　　2.表現圖書館所擁有的資源
　　　To show what the library has
　　　　by a given author
　　　　on a given subject
　　　　in a given kind of liter ature

　　3.協助讀者找尋需要的書
　　　To assist in the choice of a book
　　　　as to its edition (bibliographically)
　　　　as to its character (literary of topical)

心得：

　　記下圖書館學五律，以及目錄的功用，有助於增加對本科系的了解，以及日後應該面對的態度。
